Challenges toward Carbon Neutrality by 2050: Japan’s Fluorocarbons Policy and Actions from Industry and Academia
Abstract:
In this side event, METI (Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry) and MOEJ (Ministry of Environment) introduced Japan's Fluorocarbons Policy, followed by JRAIA (The Japan Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Industry Association) to provide latest efforts and challenges industry face to achieve Japan’s target for Carbon Neutrality 2050. In addition, JSRAE (Japan Society of Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers) explained the current status of efforts and recommendations in Japan.
