The 35th International Exhibition for Refrigeration, Air-Conditioning, Heating and Ventilation, Frozen Food Processing (China Refrigeration Expo; ”CR 2024” here in after), was held at the China International Exhibition Center (Shunyi Hall), Beijing from 8th to 10th April, 2024.


Overview of CR 2024
China Refrigeration Expo is co-hosted by the Chinese Association of Refrigeration (CAR) and China Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Industry Association (CRAA).

It is held every year, but in odd-numbered years it is held in Shanghai, in even-numbered years it is held in various cities in China, and this year it was held in Beijing.

The total area of the exhibition hall is approximately 110,000 m2, with 1,006 exhibitors, almost 6.5 times bigger in the area size and the number of exhibitors compared to the one in Japan (HVAC&R Japan 2024 Tokyo Big Site: 17,000 m2, 151 companies).

There were 77,000 visitors from 113 countries to CR 2024.
In conjunction with the exhibition, forums, symposiums, and seminars were held.

The impression from the exhibition was that the trends were conceptual, including various solutions using dioramas of entire regions and integrated control of whole building, and there was limited number of exhibits for single split system of room air-conditioner.

CR 2025 will be held in Shanghai from 27th to 29th April, 2025.
